Mumbai achieved a major milestone in its metro infrastructure with the tunnel breakthrough on Metro Line 7A at Bamanwadi. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was present at the ceremony marking the occasion.
Metro Line 7A is a 3.4-kilometre extension of the existing Line 7, which runs from Dahisar East to Gundavli. The extension will connect the city’s metro network to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMI), significantly improving access for commuters from both the northern and southern parts of Mumbai.
