Nagaland is gearing up to host the 25th edition of its iconic Hornbill Festival, starting from December 1, 2024, coinciding with the statehood day celebrations in Kohima. The festival, a ten-day cultural event designed to highlight and preserve Naga traditions, has evolved into a platform for showcasing the region’s rich heritage and fostering global connections. Featuring partnerships with countries like the USA, UK (Wales), Japan, and Peru, along with India’s Sikkim and Telangana as partner states, this year’s edition promises to enhance its international appeal.
