In a move set to streamline travel procedures and bolster diplomatic ties, the Government of Saint Lucia has secured a landmark visa-waiver agreement with the Republic of India for holders of diplomatic and official passports, Wego reports.
The agreement, signed on 16 April 2024 by Prime Minister Hon. Philip J. Pierre and the non-resident High Commissioner of India to Saint Lucia, H.E. Dr Shankar Balachandran, marks a significant milestone in facilitating easier access for officials traveling between the two nations. Once ratified by both countries, the agreement will come into effect.
