RAJASTHAN, India — As the calendar switches to 2024, the international camel community kicks off the year that is designated for them and the animals they hold dear. Camel owners and advocates worldwide see this designation by the United Nations as an opportunity to spend 365 days celebrating and promoting the virtues of camelids, in particular camels.
