Pune: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has begun traffic markings near NMV, Hujurpaga and other schools on the busy stretches of Bajirao Road and Laxmi Road as part of a pilot project aimed to provide a safer access to students.
In the next phase of “school travel improvement plan“, steps will be taken to reduce speed of vehicles to ensure safe crossings for students and to install signage and warning boards, civic officials said.
