The scent of roses filled the air at Essence of Saudi perfumery workshops in Mumbai and Delhi, organised by the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA). The events displayed the treasures of Saudi perfumes, highlighting the famous roses from Taif, a city recognised for its perfume shops. It provided visitors with a special chance to explore the diverse scent history of Saudi Arabia, the authentic birthplace of Arabia. More than 60 attendees, made up of luxury travel industry professionals, leading online travel agents, wholesalers, media personnel, influencers, and travel bloggers, participated in the workshops, a unique initiative organised by STA across various markets.
Participants were led by skilled perfumers, delving into the world of scents, and gaining insights into the importance of fragrances in culture and the craft of making perfume.
