Indian aviator and commercial pilot Gopi Thotakura recently created history by traveling to space. Gopi has become India’s first space tourist. Even though he lives in America, he has made india proud. Also, the doors have opened for other people to travel to space in the future.
Gopi Thotakura took off in a spacecraft of a company named Blue Origin on 19 May 2024 to enjoy a space trip. Blue Origin is one of the few private companies that give this opportunity to people who want to travel in space. The entire journey took only ten minutes from takeoff to landing. During this time the spacecraft reached about 105 km above the earth. This was one of the shortest and fastest journeys to space. This is definitely a big achievement which is forcing many people to think whether it will now be easy for common people to travel to space?
