The Indian cricket team won’t be travelling to Pakistan for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy due to the strained political relationship between the two nations. Indian team captain Rohit Sharma, however, is expected to visit the neighbouring nation to attend the opening ceremony of the mega event, which is making its after 2017.
According to an IANS report, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is planning to organise a grand opening ceremony to mark the return of a major cricket tournament to their land for the first time since 1996.
