SIBU (Feb 23): The inaugural flight from Thiruvananthapuram, India to Kuala Lumpur yesterday marks an exciting milestone towards strengthening the air connectivity and ties between Malaysia and India, said Dato Sri Tiong King Sing.
The Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture said this route holds great promise for bolstering tourism and facilitating cultural exchange between the two nations.
He said his ministry anticipates a significant boost in tourism traffic and a surge in visitor arrival from India to Malaysia, following the recent waiver of visa coupled with the introduction of this new route.
