Indore: Khajrana police have registered a case against a travel agency operator for duping a family of Rs 7.7 lakh by promising them Haj. The accused also took Rs 70,000 under the pretence of currency exchange and went missing on the day of the journey. When the victims went to his house, they found him missing and immediately informed the police.
Khajrana police said a case of fraud was registered against Tanveer, a resident of Snehlataganj, based on a complaint by Sufiyan Sheikh, a resident of Tanjim Nagar. The accused is operator of Al Heera Tour and Travels, located on MG Road.
