Kochi: Two PhD scholars, Ritam Guha and Nandakumar K, at the department of marine biology, microbiology and biochemistry, Cusat, have been awarded with a travel grant from BactiVac Network, University of Birmingham, UK, to participate in the fifth annual network meeting to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from November 4 to 7.Bactivac network is a UK-based organization that helps bring together academic and industrial partners involved in animal and human bacterial vaccine development from the UK and Low to Middle-Income Countries.They have been granted an amount of 1,500 pounds. tnn
