Police have detained three men in connection with an alleged gang rape of a travel influencer.
Spanish citizens and couple Vicente and Fernanda are known to their social media followers for traveling around the world on motorbikes, sharing updates along the way.
However, the pair recently claimed they had been victims of a serious assault and Fernanda had allegedly been raped while they were in India.
The couple told Spanish TV channel Antena 3 that the men raped Fernanda and repeatedly hit Vicente.
Following the attack, they couple shared a video on social media explaining what happened to them on Friday (March 1) in the Dumka district of Jharkhand.
They had reportedly stopped for the night on their journey to Nepal.
The clip has since gone viral across multiple social networks, with many people offering their condolences and sending well wishes to the couple.
