Weeks after making ripples across the world for developing cost-effective AI models, the Chinese start-up DeepSeek is back in the news. The start-up is however not making headlines this time around for a good reason.
DeepSeek has reportedly asked some of its key employees to avoid travelling overseas. The travel restrictions, as per reports, are aimed at preventing the leak of confidential information. The move is also being seen as an attempt by the Chinese authorities to guard breakthrough innovations in the space of AI and machine learning.
