NEW DELHI: Have you ever thought of travelling within a city in a helicopter? No, right? But in New York an Indian American opted for a helicopter ride to travel from Manhattan to Queens instead of taking a cab and the reason is ‘reasonable’ fare.
Khushi Suri, residing in New York, shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter) stating that the difference in fare made her take the rare trip. While Uber offered a cab from Manhattan to Queens for $131 (nearly Rs 11,000), a helicopter service charged just around $30 more.
