The tourism industry in Burma is expected to generate revenue of USD 1,040.7 million in 2024. Over the assessment period, the industry is forecasted to expand at a CAGR of 4.5%, reaching an industry size of USD 1,614.5 million by the end of 2034.
The Myanmar’s government has stated that it will invest 500 million USD to modernize its tourism infrastructure. The Asian Development Bank and the Norwegian government will work together to carry out the strategy.
