U Naung Naung Han, chairman of Myanmar Tourism Entrepreneurs Association, said that since domestic tourists have been preparing to travel to some areas including Taunggyi during the coming holidays, there is a possibility of an increase in tourism during Tazaungdine festival.
Local tourism rose again from open-season Thadingyut and it is also expected to increase in Tazaungdine amidst many preparations.
These intended destinations include Taunggyi Tazaungdine festival, beaches like Chaungtha and Ngwesaung, and pilgrimages to Bagan and Mandalay.
