April 25, Kathmandu: Nepal Tourism Board CEO Deepak Raj Joshi has urged global leaders to join the Sagarmatha Sambad 2025, or Mount Everest Dialogue, set for May 15-17, 2025, in Kathmandu. Named after the world’s highest peak, this international forum tackles pressing issues like climate change and sustainability.
At the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) summit in Istanbul (April 21-23), Joshi promoted Nepal’s eco-tourism and community-based tourism initiatives. He also invited tourism professionals to the Himalayan Travel Mart (June 3-5, 2025) to highlight Nepal’s cultural and natural diversity.
