Kathmandu, Nov 8: A cookbook ‘The Mystic Kitchen of Nepal’ written by a noted gourmet and chef Bikram Vaidya has been made public on Friday.
The cookbook was released by Minister for Health and Population, Pradeep Paudel, amidst a programme. In the programme, Minister Paudel expressed belief that the book would contribute significantly to promote Nepali food culture and cookery in the international arena.
The food is not only for sustaining life but also for one’s health, culture and tradition, he said, adding that such books play significant parts for protection of Nepali food culture. He thanked the writer for producing such seminal text.
