KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 13
In commemoration of the golden jubilee of Nepal and South Korea’s bilateral relations, a team of veteran Korean adventurists trekked to the Everest base camp this season.
According to the president of the Korean Alpine Federation’s liaison office Ngawa Ngima Sherpa, a team of trekkers from the Chungdong Alpine Club successfully completed its trek to the Everest Base Camp and Kalapatthar.
“The team visited the Everest region promoting Nepal’s tourism as well as marking the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Nepal and the Republic of Korea,” Sherpa, also the owner of Seoul Jib Restaurant and Sora Adventure Treks, said.
