Eighteen tourism industry representatives from Kashgar, China have embarked on a five-day trip to Pakistan at the invitation of the Travel Agents Association of Pakistan (TAAP). This marks the first Kashgar outbound tourism group to visit the country. The trip is likely to take them to Gilgit-Baltistan in Pakistan via Khunjerab port in Xinjiang.
