The participation of Cuba for the first time at Qatar’s International Tourism and Travel Fair has raised interest among local and foreign participants at the event.
Qatar Travel Mart 2024 closes doors on Wednesday at Doha Conventions Center, which gathered tour-operators, travel agencies, specialized press agents and representatives of airline companies from 60 nations.
Cuba’s participation at the event aimed at updating Qatar travel agents and tour-operators on the tourist potential of Cuba as a major Caribbean tourist destination.
The island’s stand at the fair was visited by Qatar Tourism president Saad bin Ali Al Kharji, according to the Cuban Foreign Ministry.
