Taylor Swift fever is hitting a new high in Singapore as ‘The Eras Tour’ concerts are set to kick off this weekend from 2 March 2024. Arm yourself with our dedicated survival guide, which will tell you everything you need to know, from where to get official merchandise, to when to take bathroom breaks during the 3.5-hour-long music set list, and more.

Previously performed at the Singapore Indoor Stadium for her 1989 World Tour in 2015, Taylor Swift returns to Singapore after nine years to stage her biggest concert yet at the 55,000 pax-capacity National Stadium.

The Singapore leg for ‘The Eras Tour’ is the only stop in Southeast Asia, which means that chaos is certain with the six sold-out shows from 2 to 4 March 2024 and 7 to 9 March 2024.

Taylor Swift already arrived in Singapore on February 27, flying in directly from her Sydney leg, possibly to tour the city and prepare for sound checks.

For a stress-free concert experience, pre-planning is essential to ensure maximum enjoyment. Read on for our comprehensive guide on how to navigate through the pandemonium of The Eras Tour 2024 in Singapore, whether you’re a Swiftie or not.

When to have a bathroom break during ‘The Eras Tour’ Singapore concerts

Spanning 3.5 hours long, attending Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ concert is akin to running a long marathon. To minimise the chances of missing crucial concert moments, choose these time slots to freshen up (especially when Taylor does a costume change).

1. After Sabrina Carpenter’s 10-song set has ended

2. In between the Reputation era and the Speak Now era; before Swift performs “Enchanted”

3. Before the Folklore era; after “All Too Well (10-Minute Version)” has ended

Which segment is the best to propose to your special half (if you intend to)

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ concert has seen a fair share of proposals across many cities. While it may be a no-brainer to pick “You Belong With Me” and “Enchanted” for obvious reasons, discerning fans (and us) would suggest “Long Live”. The lyrics are self-explanatory. Here’s hoping for an increase in marriages and domestic birth rates after the Singapore leg concludes.

Ideal concert etiquette

Don’t be a prick or a nuisance to fellow Swifties. We all paid good money to hear her sing live, and not your screams. Furthermore, limit mobile use if you intend to film and not position your phone above eye level. It is also advisable to have ear plugs on to protect your hearing from the harmful effects of expected high decibel sounds.

Fringe activities at Marina Bay Sands

As an official concert partner to Taylor Swift’s ‘The Eras Tour’ in Singapore 2024, Marina Bay Sands has curated a series of new entertainment experiences for fans to take part in. These range from The Eras Tour light and water show on selected nights, The Eras Tour-inspired trail, facade light-up of Marina Bay Sands, and a retail pop-up store.

Some of these experiences require pre-registration. Head to Marina Bay Sands’ The Eras Tour microsite for more details.
