Air Canada announces non-stop flights to Singapore from YVR

There comes a point for us all when the routine simply becomes too routine.

Air Canada has launched non-stop service between Singapore Changi Airport and Vancouver International Airport (YVR).  The new service, launched on April 3, makes Air Canada the only airline offering non-stop, year-round flights to Singapore from Vancouver International Airport. 

The new route operates four times weekly and is another key connection for Air Canada, which continues to build its Asia Pacific hub out of YVR. Stretching 12,818 kilometres (7,965 miles), the route is the airline’s longest flight measured by distance with a flying time of approximately 16 hours.

Non-stop service to Singapore links passengers and businesses to this vibrant global city and will further develop YVR’s reputation as a diverse global hub, providing direct access to several important markets across the Indo-Pacific area. Non-stop service between the two destination airports also supports diversified trade and investment opportunities that benefit the local economy.

Air Canada will be flying non-stop, four times a week, year-round to Singapore from YVR on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The service will operate Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday, departing YVR at 12:15 a.m. and arriving in Changi at 7:10 a.m. the next day.
