Australia, Singapore, China, Timor-Leste and India fuel Indonesia’s 2024 tourism boom, driving arrivals to thirteen point nine million and boosting the economy.
Indonesia’s tourism sector witnessed remarkable growth in 2024, with foreign tourist arrivals climbing 19% year-on-year to reach 13.9 million, according to the Ministry of Tourism. In December alone, 1.24 million international visitors arrived, reflecting an 8.72% increase from the same period in 2023.
