CapitaVerse will return for its inaugural Roblox edition this month.
Supported by innovative media company Bandwagon Labs, the metaverse collaboration between CapitaLand and the Singapore Tourism Board will debut with a 24-hour launch party at Singapore Wanderland, a garden-themed space inspired by the Lion City, at 5 PM (SGT) on 8 April.
Thereafter, the latest iteration of CapitaVerse will run until 31 October, marking a departure from the event’s previous single-day format.
Players of all ages can look forward to checking out a reimagined version of CapitaLand mall Funan, experiential shophouses, a multimedia Kinetic Wall installation, and a rooftop farm and vertical garden when they step into Singapore Wanderland.
They will also be able to customise their own Roblox avatars, which they will then be able to use to explore Singapore Wanderland’s Finders’ Isle.
The upcoming edition of CapitaVerse will feature an entertainment segment headlined by Singaporean actor and singer Glenn Yong from 9 PM on 8 April to 1 PM on 9 April. Aside from taking the stage to perform originals from his repertoire, Yong will interact with players in a series of games and give away exclusive prizes to lucky participants.
What’s more, there will be time-based quests inspired by brands such as Barehands, PUMA, GINLEE, and National Gallery Singapore that players can participate in to stand a chance of scoring exclusive user-generated content (UGCs). There will be a pool of 40,000 virtual wearables available during the launch party.
Other highlights include a Best Dressed Avatar Contest, where 10 lucky participants will win one million STAR$ (equivalent to a $1,000 eCapitaVoucher), TURF WAR: Fashionistas vs Foodies, where players can stand a chance of scoring real-world prizes worth over $100,000, and a CapitaVerse Attendance Badge, which will give all players access to real-world perks at CapitaLand malls.

Players can check out the third edition of CapitaVerse on Roblox from 5 PM on 8 April here or via the Roblox app on Google Play and the Apple App Store after creating a Roblox account.
