The Walt Disney Company is set to launch its first Asia-based cruise ship, Disney Adventure, with ticket sales starting next week. The ship will begin its maiden voyage from Singapore in December 2025. Disney aims to capitalize on Singapore’s tourism boom to expand its cruise business.
Disney Adventure, the largest ship in Disney’s fleet, can accommodate around 6,700 passengers and weighs 208,000 tons. It will be homeported in Singapore for at least five years, expected to attract millions of passengers.
Disney plans to double its spending on parks and cruises over the next decade, aiming to expand its fleet from five to 13 ships by 2031.
