After nearly a decade of leadership, Lionel Wong has stepped down as CEO of SATS-Creuers Cruise Services (SCCS) and Marina Bay Cruise Centre Singapore (MBCCS) on 31st March 2025.
Appointed in January 2016, Wong led MBCCS through significant growth, including overseeing its pivotal role in Singapore’s pandemic response.
Under his guidance, MBCCS not only flourished but garnered numerous accolades, including Travel Weekly Asia’s Best Cruise Terminal in Asia for five consecutive years (2018-2022) and Singapore Tourism Awards for Community Care in 2021.
