Singapore will soon surpass its touristy neighbours Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand to become Asia’s top travel destinations, according to travel watchers. With more tourists from India and China exploring Lion City, it achieved 16.5 million visitors, more than 21% of the previous year. As per reports, this marks the highest arrivals since the COVID-19 pandemic. The Singapore Tourism Board said the trend will likely continue, and the country will welcome up to 18.5 million visitors, approaching its pre-pandemic peak tourist number of 19.1 million.
