SINGAPORE – Singapore welcomed 1.23 million visitor arrivals in November, reflecting a 12.2 percent increase compared to the same period last year, according to the latest data from the Singapore Tourism Board.
Visitors from Indonesia topped the charts with 194,440 arrivals, a 5.5 percent rise from November 2023.
China ranked second with 174,750 visitors, marking a significant 67.5 percent year-on-year surge. Local media attributed this growth to the China-Singapore mutual visa exemption implemented in February. For the first 11 months of 2024, China emerged as Singapore’s largest source of visitors.
