Lanseria International Airport (LIA) has introduced an automated boarding gate system in its domestic terminal. The system, known as “Tap and Fly,” is the first of its kind for domestic travel in South Africa and aims to streamline passenger boarding processes.
“This rollout represents a significant step in our journey towards becoming a SMART airport,” said Rampa Rammopo, CEO of Lanseria International Airport. “The Tap and Fly system will not only reduce boarding times but also allow our staff to focus on delivering a high standard of customer service.”
