Leading tour operator Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has called on registered architects to enter an international open design competition for a state-of-the-art conservation centre at the Maasai Mara National Reserve’s Oloololo Gate.
The competition has been initiated with the support of the Mara Triangle Conservancy, Abercrombie & Kent Philanthropy (A&KP) and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBE).
The conservation centre is envisioned as an innovative and engaging facility that provides visitors with interactive and exciting experiences while promoting sustainable tourism practices.
The facility will include parking, essential amenities, an exhibition space, interactive learning zones, a gift shop, and environmentally conscious design features.
