Ireland assistant coach Mike Catt has heaped praise on out-half Sam Prendergast following his inclusion in Ireland’s 35-man squad for next month’s tour of South Africa.
The Leinster man featured prominently in the Ireland U20 side who secured Six Nations Grand Slam glory in the spring.
He was previously involved with the senior setup when included as a training panellist ahead of this year’s Six Nations, and his nod for the two-Test tour in South Africa serves as another milestone in a blossoming career.
