South Africa are touring West Indies to participate in a 3 match T20I series, starting on the 24th of May. The 3rd and Final T20I of the series will be played on the 27th of May. It will be a great opportunity for both teams to fine tune their squads ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.
According to the Chief Selector of West Indies Desmond Haynes, “These are among the last competitive T20 International matches before the start of the World Cup. Players have the opportunity to fine-tune their skills and ensure they are as prepared as they can be for the World Cup, whether they are in the final squad or reserve pool.”
Sabina Park, Jamaica will host all of the three games.
West Indies are led by Brandon King, who will be captaining the side in absence of regulars like Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, Andre Russell and Shai Hope, all of whom are participating in the IPL.
