The WC tourism sector continues to grow as more visitors are flocking to this province. Along with that, come economic benefits and more job opportunities.
Significant growth in number of visitors
The Western Cape Government reported that visitors to WC tourist attractions are topping 3.2 million. Provincial Minister of Finance and Economic Opportunities, Mireille Wenger, highlighted a 17% growth in the number of visitors to 53 participating tourist attractions across the province. This was in comparison to the same period last year.
