Trip.com Group’s data indicates that Thailand, particularly Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, emerged as a preferred destination for Chinese tourists in 2023, registering a substantial increase in bookings compared to 2022. These cities are expected to maintain their popularity among tourists in 2024, further bolstering Thailand’s tourism sector.
