On Tuesday, Thailand’s Cabinet gave the green light to a proposal to host the 2025 FIVB Women’s Volleyball World Championship, aiming to boost tourism and invigorate the local economy.
Deputy government spokesperson Karom Ponpornklang shared that the Tourism and Sports Ministry’s proposal followed a presentation by the Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) at the 39th International Volleyball Federation meeting held in Porto, Portugal, from November 15-17.
