The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT has formed a collaboration with newly resurrected cruise company StarDream Cruises to help boost Thailand cruise tourism.
In a first, the newly refurbished ship Star Voyager will homeport in Thailand.
The ship has a guest capacity of 1,940.
The inaugural cruise departed this week, and operates round-trip sailings between Laem Chabang, Koh Samui and Singapore as part of the Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism and Sports Year 2025.
“This marks a pivotal step in strengthening Thailand’s position as a leading regional cruise hub,” said Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Asia and South Pacific), TAT.
