This year, under the theme of sustainability, TAT brings to the spotlight the intricate art of bamboo wickerwork, a testament to Thailandâs dedication to preserving traditional crafts while promoting eco-friendly tourism practices. By featuring 59 exhibitors from diverse sectors including hotels, tour operators, and airlines, TAT aims to highlight the symbiotic relationship between tourism and environmental stewardship.

With various initiatives such as waiving tourist visa fees for Indian citizens and promoting lesser-known destinations, TAT is keen on attracting approximately 1.74 million Indian tourists in 2024, aiming to bolster a thriving tourism exchange between the two nations. The presence of notable figures like Minister of Tourism and Sports, Ms. Sudawan Wangsuphakijkosol, and TAT Deputy Governor Mr. Chattan Kunjara Na Ayudhya, emphasizes the high level of engagement and hope for securing over 5,000 business appointments during the exchange.
