The government has rolled out an ambitious plan to strengthen the country’s tourism industry, with initiatives aimed at both international and local tourists. In 2023, the sector generated a substantial 1.892 trillion baht and is projected to play a pivotal role in the nation’s economic recovery. By 2025, the goal is to increase tourism revenue to 3.4 trillion baht and attract over 40 million visitors from abroad.
