Following the “horrific and agonising” death of a Scottish woman in Turkey, MPs have heard a call for a health tourism advertising ban.
Shannon Bowe, 28, travelled from her home in Falkirk to Turkey in April 2023, and tragically passed away after going through gastric band surgery.
Foreign Minister Leo Docherty told the Commons that 28 British nationals have died since 2019 after having elective medical procedures abroad.
