Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) is experiencing a strong recovery in tourism, with over 182,000 tourist arrivals recorded in October 2024. This marks a 9.6 percent increase in visitor numbers compared to the same period last year, according to the country’s Statistics Agency. In addition to the rise in arrivals, overnight stays have also surged, reaching over 353,000, a 7.7 percent increase year-on-year. These positive figures reflect BiH’s growing popularity as a travel destination, driven by a combination of factors, including the easing of travel restrictions and the growing appeal of the country’s rich history, natural beauty, and cultural offerings.
