The World Tourism Forum has started in Istanbul, where a delegation from Kosovo is participating for the first time. The forum, which is conceived to be “Davos of world tourism, gathers the high levels of tourism policy to determine the directions of tourism development.
The forum is organized for the third time and the focus is on the world tourism sector. This year’s concept is defined as “Border Barriers: Safe and Trouble-Free Travel”.
About 150 international speakers from 20 different countries are taking part in the global summit in Istanbul.
At the opening, Prime Minister of Turkey Binali Yildirim, among other things, greeted the delegation from Kosovo for participating.
