Malaysian officials welcomed Batik Air’s first flight from Istanbul to Kuala Lumpur, a key step in boosting tourism and connectivity between the two countries, with services running four times weekly.
Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture YB Dato Sri Tiong King Sing as well as representatives from Batik Air and Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) personally welcomed passengers aboard the Batik Air inaugural flight arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport from Sabiha Gokcen International Airport, Istanbul . A water salute by MAHB greeted the aircraft as a warm welcome for the passengers boarding Flight OD724.
The new four-times-weekly direct flight which operates with Airbus A330-300 at a seating capacity of 377, departing every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
