The growth trend that Turkish tourism marked last year stopped in the last quarter of the year. The Turkish Institute of Statistics published tourism data for the fourth period of 2011, which includes the months of October, November and December.
According to these statistics, the income from tourism suffered a decrease of 1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Tourism revenue for the fourth quarter of 2011 was approximately 5 billion 209 million Turkish liras. /Telegraph/
