The expenditure of inbound tourists in Turkey, including international visitors and Turkish citizens residing abroad, increased in the fourth quarter of 2021 over the same period of the previous year. Overall, the total inbound tourist spending amounted to roughly 7.2 billion U.S. dollars between October and December 2021, while it totaled around 3.9 billion U.S. dollars in the fourth quarter of 2020.
