Turkish Airlines, the national flag carrier of Türkiye, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism) to enhance sustainable tourism initiatives and civil aviation globally.
According to the airline, it flies to more countries than any other airline in the world. The partnership between UN Tourism and Turkish Airlines will focus on promoting sustainable tourism, aviation development and expanding air connectivity to emerging destinations. They’ll also work together to create case studies on related topics, such as sustainable aviation fuels.
