Turkish Minister of Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy has requested resignation from President Recep Tayyip Erdogan following demands for him to leave his post after a major fire at a hotel in the Kartalkaya ski resort, Report informs referring to the Nefes newspaper citing sources.
Ersoy asked the president to relieve him of his duties during the Turkish government meeting held on January 21, the day of the tragedy. In response, it was reportedly stated that government changes are planned for February. This may involve the replacement of seven ministers.
