Tourism revenues in Turkey surged by 14.5 % year-on-year to $13.79 billion in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Individual expenditures constituted $9.9 billion of the total tourism income, while the share of package tour expenditures was $3.7 billion in the fourth quarter.
The largest shares of expenditure were on package tours (27.2%), food and beverages (20.7%), and international transport (13%).
Compared to the same quarter the previous year, package tour and food & beverage spending surged by 23.2% and 26.3%, respectively, while international transport expenditure rose by 5.2%.
