As early bookings from international visitors to Türkiye rise by 20%, the country’s tourism industry is gearing up for another record-breaking year, according to Mehmet Isler, vice president of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TUROFED).
With the early booking season in full swing—allowing tourists to secure more affordable stays at their preferred accommodations—Isler told Anadolu Agency that Türkiye has become a globally competitive tourism destination.
Reminding Türkiye’s goal of increasing average daily tourist spending to between $120 and $130, Isler said “We can already see that 2025 will be another record year for Turkish tourism, as it has been in previous years.”
