Türkiye has seen record tourism visitor growth from Ireland this year, the country’s culture and tourism department has confirmed.
In the first nine months of 2024, Türkiye welcomed 160,000 visitors from Ireland, an increase of 18.9% from the same period in 2023.
This follows an impressive first half of the year, which saw 81,000 Irish tourists visit Türkiye, reflecting the country’s continued popularity as a top destination for Irish tourists seeking its unique mix of vibrant cities, historical sites, and scenic Mediterranean coastline.
